We mainly use FSI fire stopping products.  Although other manufacturers are used subject to the clients needs and requests Firestopping is to reinstate the Integrity and Insulation of a fire resisting element of construction at positions where typically substrates abut or have been compromised by service penetrations or where left void.   A Fire Stop is a passive fire protection system of various same manufacturer components used to seal openings and joints in fire rated walls and/or floor assemblies, based on independent testing and 3rd Party Certification.

Where services pass through separating elements and/or compartment walls or floors, there is also a clear potential for compartment breach unless specific tested measures are taken to prevent it.  Where required air sealing, sound reduction and water permeability is also achievable.
